School Nutrition Assn. National Conference

The Food Channel (foodchannel.com and foodchannelpro.com) will be in Dallas next week as part of the School Nutrition Association (SNA) Annual National Conference 2010. It’s part of the Web site’s ongoing commitment to provide information to both consumers and the foodservice industry about events that help to shape the trends in food.

“We have a real focus this year on school nutrition,” explains Kay Logsdon, editor in chief of The Food Channel. “Our audience is tuned in to find out the latest in new products and in the overall commitment schools are making to address health and nutrition issues.”

During the event, which runs July 11-14, The Food Channel crew will be conducting interviews and showcasing products and innovations. The site will feature daily reports, video interviews, photos and feature stories. Coverage can also be followed on Twitter at twitter.com/foodchannel and on Facebook at facebook.com/FoodChannel.

The Food Channel’s coverage of the event is sponsored by the SNA and underwritten by Advance Food Company , Michael Foods, National Dairy Council, and Pinnacle Foods.
