And, there may be no better way to cool off than with the thirst-quenching sensation of lemonade, which can now be found in the limited edition, frozen Lemonade Roll available exclusively from Friendly's.
Featuring lemon sherbet and tart lemon "bursts" that are wrapped in a layer of lemon ice cream, the product is joining the company's dessert roll line, which features its popular Wattamelon Roll and Jubilee Roll offerings. This summertime treat is made using the well-known, all-natural flavors of Del's Lemonade and, when sliced, resembles fresh-cut lemon slices.

Friendly's Lemonade Roll is currently available at supermarkets and Friendly's and Del's locations throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey, as well as parts of Ohio and Florida. According to officials at Friendly's, the Lemonade Roll marks the first time the company has partnered with Cranston, R.I.-based Del's Lemonade.
"As a brand, Del's Lemonade represents summer and the laid-back nature of the season," noted Hopkins. "It's an excellent complement to the family-centric theme of Friendly's, which emphasizes fun and delicious food that can be enjoyed by people of all ages."

Dr. Kazantzis adds that consumers who know and love the taste of Del's Lemonade will be sure to recognize its signature flavor in the new frozen dessert.
