One of the pleasures of eating many Kosher foods is the history they embody, where there is reverence and respect for Kosher standards being followed for many years, perhaps, decades. For example, Gold Pure Food Products, Inc., (a Kosherfest exhibitor) manufacturers of the famous horseradish (regular, sweet, hot) has now been made according to Jewish traditions and customs for 78-years by a five generation family, which began in the humble kitchen of a walk-up apartment in Flatbush, Brooklyn! Today Gold's makes all sorts of condiment foods like mustards, relish, ketchup, wasabi---all Kosher. You can actually feel and taste the history---crazy as it sounds!
