Back-to-School Recipes from the Makers of Smart Balance® Products

PB-Pretzel Apple Dips
Ingredients
1 large apple, cut into wedges
1/4 cup Smart Balance® Rich Roast Peanut Butter
2-3 tablespoons (1/2 ounce) crushed pretzels

Directions
Place apple wedges, peanut butter and crushed pretzels in separate bowls on table. Allow kids to dip apple wedges in peanut butter, then roll in crushed pretzels.

Serves 2; ½ apple per serving

Honey’d Peanut Butter-Banana Sandwiches

Ingredients
1/2 cup Smart Balance® Rich Roast Peanut Butter Creamy or Crunchy
3 tablespoons honey
8 slices whole wheat bread, lightly toasted
2 medium bananas, peeled and sliced
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions
Combine the peanut butter and the honey in a small bowl. Spread equal amounts on each of the toast slices. Arrange the banana slices evenly on each of four of the toast slices, sprinkle with cinnamon and top with remaining 4 toast slices (peanut butter side down).

Serves 4; 2 halves per serving
