Edibelles, a locally owned gourmet cookie and snack food wholesale company based in Savannah, Ga., is pleased to introduce a new line of Southern-inspired cookies and snacks.
Inspired by traditional Southern flavors, Edibelles’ gourmet cookies and snacks incorporate sweet and savory ingredients into bite-size portions perfect for entertaining guests, corporate and hospitality gift baskets and retail gifts. Dedicated to a “buy local” philosophy, the new wholesale food company partnered with Stan Strickland of Savannah Candy Kitchen to develop its unique product line.
“We’re excited to introduce our new line of gourmet cookies and snacks to consumers and the specialty food industry,” said Madeleine Warren, co-owner and founder of Edibelles. “Our flavors are not only unique but are truly a Southern experience reminiscent of the traditional flavors that Southerners grew up eating.”
The company’s new gourmet cookie and snack food line includes Charming Cheddar Biscuits, Perfectly Peach Cookies, Southern Praline Snackin’ Mix, Choice Chocolate Cookies, Beloved Butter Pecan Cookies and Sophisticated Shortbread Cookies.
Warren is also the owner and founder of Elegant Gifts, a local custom gift basket company catering to local and regional corporate and hospitality industries. Increasingly in demand, she specializes in the creative design of gift baskets and containers filled with delicious ready to eat gourmet products.
In response to her growing business and in an effort to stay true to her “buy local” philosophy, Warren realized there was a need for new products that could be bought and made locally in Savannah. It was then that Madeleine and her husband, Tim, decided that they should start their own gourmet cookie and snack company.
Taking their idea to Atlanta in July, they knew that they were on the right track. After a successful appearance at the AmericasMart International Home Furnishings, Gift and Gourmet Food Market, the new company immediately filled orders for regional fine gift and retail locations.
“With over eight years in the gourmet food and retail industry,” said Warren, “developing our own brand was a natural transition for us. We executed complete creative control and used our past experience developing products that not only taste divine, but tailored each flavor to coincide with a clever Southern anecdote located on the back of the box to complete the gourmet flavor experience.”
