Numi Organic Tea wins 1st place in North American Tea Championship!

In recognition of its outstanding evaluation and delicious taste, World Tea Media has presented the First Place North American Tea Champion Award to Numi Organic Tea for its Earl Grey Pu∙erh Tea in the Ready-to-Drink Flavored Black Tea category.

To choose the recipient of this award, the judging panel – consisting of professional cuppers, leading retail buyers of tea and restaurateurs – assessed each submission through blind organoleptic analysis of the following characteristics: flavor, mouthfeel, color, clarity and balance. The ratings of each characteristic were then used to calculate an overall numerical value on a 100-point scale, and winners were determined by rank. The Championship is the only independent competition, judged by professional cuppers, to distinguish the highest quality and best tasting teas that are commercially available in the North American marketplace.
