Celebrate this year’s Cinco de Mayo with the help of Mexican Mixologist Junior Merino! Advanced in his craft, yet true to his heritage - Junior recently created the CORZO LA FUTURA, a modern version of the margarita. The recipe combines fresh Agave Nectar, a traditional and indigenous Mexican ingredient, with pineapple, lime juice, ginger and CORZO, modern tequila with a luxurious, but authentic flavor. Recipe highlights include:
· Transcending the traditional margarita glass with sleek, modern glassware.
· Ingredients like fresh Agave Nectar which elevate the cocktail and preserve traditions.
· Use of large ice clubs for less diluting and more effective cooling.
Growing up in the culinary melting pot of Central Mexico, Junior was always infusing and mixing exotic ingredients and fresh juices. After immigrating to the United States at age 16, he made a name for himself by creating unique, specialty cocktails for hot spots across the country.
