Vito’s Café will present a new revue based on the hits of popular musical icons such as Buddy Holly and Frankie Valli, the revue will occur monthly. Kicking off the series, “Back to the 50’s, The Day the Music Died,” will be an evening with the music of Buddy Holly on Friday April 17, 2009. The traditional format for the evening will begin at 5:00 P.M. with the singing servers from local Universities such as the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Northern Kentucky University singing popular jazz hits, opera ballads and Broadway show tunes.
