Mark's Feed Store Experiences a Heat Wave

For years, Mark’s Feed Store has been known for its award-winning barbeque sauces and now Mark’s is blazing a new trail! Mark’s Feed Store is introducing their own hot sauce this month. Their signature hot sauce is now for sale at all Mark’s Feed Store restaurants and is available to top off their famous barbeque at all four locations.

“Our customers love our original and red sauces, and we received so many requests for something to add a little more kick,” said Mark’s Feed Store founder Mark Erwin. “After 20 years in business, we’re still striving to give our guests what they want.”

This scorching sauce is sure to fly off the shelves in all Mark’s Feed Stores. The sauce will run $3.15 a bottle. Customers can also get two bottles or pair a bottle of the hot sauce with original or red BBQ sauce for just $6.

While the hot sauce is only available in Mark’s Feed Store restaurants, the original and red sauce can be found in Mark’s Feed Stores and Kroger’s stores. The original sauce is a spicy mustard-based formula, while the red recipe is sweet and tangy with a touch of honey. Both are made using secret recipes developed by Erwin. His techniques were passed down from a third generation barbeque master. The original and red sauces can be used in a variety of recipes that can be found on www.marksfeedstore.com.

Mark’s Feed Store has four locations (Highlands, Middletown, Dixie Highway and Clarksville, Ind.), which are open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. For information about catering, bottled sauces, gift cards and more, visit www.marksfeedstore.com.
