Navitas Naturals is expanding their vast offering of organic superfoods sourced from around the world with the addition of Acai Power. Acai is a superfruit native to the tropical floodplains of Central and South America that was used by ancient Amazon cultures as a traditional medicine. The delicious purple berries offer a high level of antioxidants and healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids including omegas 3, 6 and 9. Acai also contains an optimal combination of essential amino acids, is a good source of vitamin C, and possesses many other micronutrients including polyphenols and flavonoids.
Navitas Naturals Acai Power is suggested for blending into milkshakes, smoothies, desserts, yogurt and granola, and it can also be enjoyed as a healthy ingredient in a wide variety of recipes (for example, see the Acai Catsup recipe below). Acai Power is made from whole organic acai berries from Brazil that are freeze-dried and milled at a low temperature to ensure maximum nutrient content. The SRP for is $21.99 for a 4-ounce resealable pouch, and $39.99 for an 8-ounce pouch. Navitas Naturals products are widely available at hundreds of stores throughout the U.S. and Canada including Whole Foods, and on many websites including www.amazon.com.
